Seagate Dockstar JTAG

I Googled a lot, and even found that for some people, TXD & RXD were swapped.
So here it’s how it worked from me:
Open the Dockstar, starting from the lower right and going to the left (3rd pict):

  • GND
  • TXD
  • RXD

I used picocom (in Debian) like this:

  picocom /dev/ttyUSB0 -b 115200 -p n

raspberry pi GPIO project

The idea is to plot temperature, light an humidity inside my house.

installed version for a package in debian

#!/bin/bash
# installed_version.sh
# written by f varas, with lots of love and awk, which are basically the same.
# how it works:
# this script will tell you the _installed_ version of the
# package name you pass as argument.
if [ "x$1" != "x" ]
then dpkg -l | grep "^ii.*$1" | awk '{ printf "%-35s %s\n", $2 , $3 }'
else echo "usage: version_installed.sh "
